Easter Seals Disability Services

Mission: 

Provides services to those with physical disabilities and developmental delays. Provides help in early intervention, medical rehabilitation, medical clinics, community contracts, Camp Lily and recreation.


Equi-librium

Mission: 

Provides equine-assisted activities for children and adults with special needs. These specialized activities use a combination of sport, education, theraphy, recreation and leisure to improve an individual's behavior, communication, physical, perceptual and social skills.


Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania

Mission: 

Inspiring girls age 5-17 with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patrotism, and service through an informal educational/recreational program. Provides girls opportunites to grow in skill, self-confidence and leadership.


Girls on the Run Pocono Chapter

Mission:

To educate and empower girls at an early age in order to prevent the display of at-risk activities in the future. At risk activities include substance/alcohol use, eating disorders, early onset of sexual activity, sedentary lifestyle, depression, suicide attempts and confrontations with the juvenile justice system.

Provides community-planning and enhancement with a focus on community assessment, the creation of programs, services, and system changes that support residetns as they strive to improve their quality of life.
