Current Volunteer Needs:
Volunteers are needed for a new program called Running Bridges out of Poverty which aims to help families work to get out of poverty. They also need volunteers every Thursday from 5-8:00pm. Volunteers will work with the families with children to provide a daycare while in the mentoring session from 5:30-7:30 on Tuesdays. Volunteers will also be given a meal with the families at 5:30 at the beginning of each program session. They are also starting a new program Monroe in Motion which is working to help keep our youth active and healthy.
They need volunteers to be on a task force, computer help, and office volunteers from 9am-4pm specifically students who are computer savvy. They could also use the help of education majors to help with curriculum writing for their program.
Please contact Ruth Piancone at email@example.com or by phone at (570) 517-5367 to volunteer.
