Mini Grants are for new research projects or professional development opportunities.
Please see the 2017-2018 FDR Guidelines for eligibility, what the committee funds, submission instructions, and proposal instructions.
All grant proposals must be submitted online via the University's new grant application software: ESU eGRANTS
FDR Grant Policies and Procedures
Travel: FDR grant funds will reimburse your travel expenses but it is the awardee's responsibility to pay initially. (Consider applying for the Commercial Travel Credit Card Program which is for usage by both Kutztown University and ESU campus personnel).
Review ESU's Travel Policies and Procedures which includes steps to take to be reimbursed for travel expenses.
Visit PASSHE's Employee Travel Expense Reimbursement Rates per the Board of Governors’ Policy 1986-07-A, Travel Expense Regulations.
If renting a vehicle, all ESU employees are required to use the Trip Optimizer.
Research Compliance: If research involves the use of human subjects, please visit ESU's Institutional Review Board (IRB) and complete the application BEFORE submitting your grant proposal. For the use of live animals, visit the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) site and fill out the application.
