Current Bid and RFP Opportunities

Suppliers, Thank you for your interest in doing business with ESU.

East Stroudsburg University, as well as other State System schools, utilizes an electronic procurement software called ARIBA DISCOVERY for publishing bids, request for quotes, and request for proposals. Suppliers are encouraged to register online for Ariba Discovery. When solicitation opportunities are posted to the e-procurement system by the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, registered suppliers will be notified and given the opportunity to submit bids/proposals online. An additional benefit to registering is that the supplier may also receive bid opportunities for needs posted by other State System Universities. There is no cost for a supplier to register and will require uploading a copy of your company's W9. If you previously registered at Procureware, you will need to update your registration information on Ariba Discovery, as Procureware is no longer active.

Although solicitations are available for public viewing, in order to submit a bid/proposal, interested suppliers MUST register at the State System Ariba Discovery site. This includes suppliers for regular procurements as well as construction bids. Registration is a one-time free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, suppliers may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential proposals online. Other documents may also be found there such as bid tabs and awards.

The majority of bids will be advertised on the State System Ariba Discovery website. Some may also be found on the Department of General Services eMarketplace website as well. You will need to enter "Monroe" in the county search field.

You can also register on the PA Department of General Services eMarketplace website as well as the State System website. Please go to PA eMarketplace to review advertised bid opportunities at East Stroudsburg University or other State System universities, and to add your company to the database.
