Administrative:  Coordinate programs in biochemistry and chemical biotechnology including but not limited to curriculum development, program outreach and recruiting, internship development and supervision and major advising.

Research:  Utilization and development of molecular techniques related to investigation of the speciation of several groups of etheostomid darters.
