Biographical Information:
Dr. Jochen is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. His research interests include computer security, steganography, program analysis, and computer science education. Dr. Jochen received his B.A. in Communication and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware. He is a Captain in the Army National Guard, with an appointment as a signal officer in the 198th Expeditionary Signal Battalion. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for service during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is also an amateur radio operator (call sign: N3WQW). Outside of his academic interests, Dr. Jochen enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, gardening, and trying to grow any plant/fruit that he can by seed (which does not always work out!). Of course, as a computer scientist, he thinks playing with any latest gadget or technology is always fun!
