The Pathfinder series is a new service that is being introduced by the Reference Department at Kemp Library. The service is the work of Professors Mary Kay Lavelle and Patricia J. Jersey. The first Pathfinder in this series is devoted to news resources. Each Pathfinder as it is introduced will explain the type of resource being used and its relevancy to the research process. In addition, each Pathfinder will list valuable resources in Kemp Library that the researcher needs to be aware of as well as those online resources, either databases that Kemp Library subscribes to or Internet web sites, that the Reference Department feels are the best within that subject area.

Call numbers and locations are provided for each print resource in Kemp Library. If patrons cannot locate the print resources listed in a particular Pathfinder when they are in the Library, they should ask for assistance at the Reference Desk located on the main floor.

Your feedback is important to us in evaluating the web sites that you have used in this or in future Pathfinders. We welcome your input on the usefulness and content of the web sites in any Pathfinder and will use your comments and suggestions to update and revise these resources.
