An ecological study of the human impact on the environment
how past and present practices by man will influence the planet's future
discussion of population, pollution, and attitudes affecting ecosystem balance and stability.

  1. Student Response systems will be used for attendance
  2. Missing classes reduces your grade
  3. Miss 5 - lower by 1 letter grade
  4. Miss 10 - lower by 2 letter grades
  5. Get your CPS system and log-on by next Monday (1 week)
  6. Exam Format - Multiple Choice on Scantron
  7. You will need to bring a #2 pencil to the test
  8. The only make-up is the final
  9. If you miss more than 1 test, the second is a zero
  10. The final exam is cumulative
  11. If you take all 4 exams and the final, the best 4 grades will be used to calculate your grade
  12. No excuses policy: I don’t need to see a doctor’s excuse, funeral notice, field trip, athletic, or any other excuse
  13. Cheating (copying, notes in exam, cell phone texting during exam) will result in your going to the Judicial Board and your exam will count as zero.  Don’t do it!
  14. All material covered in the text and lecture should be considered for the exams, even if it is not specifically reviewed in a study guide.
