Oral Report Guidelines
You will prepare an oral presentation of your laboratory to be completed in 5 minutes.  You must use computer generated multimedia (i.e.. power point or corel presents, html etc.) for the presentation; you may also use handouts and the chalkboard as a supplement.   A laptop computer and projector system will be set up for your use.  Please do not bring your presentation to laboratory on a single disk only.  You should load your presentation onto your USB drive.  If your report does not load you will receive a zero for the report so you must check for compatibility before you present your report.

All members of a group must participate in the presentation. You will receive individual and group grades.  Your presentation should include the information that would be presented in a written laboratory, introduction, results and discussion.  However, remember this is a visual presentation and should be visually engaging (not busy).

Your grade will be based on the following:

Understanding of material
Presentation
Use of multi-media and other supplementary materials*
Ability to field questions

* Electronic presentation is required.   A grade of 0 will be recorded for non computer generated presentations.  Poor use of electronic formatting and supplementary materials will result in a 20 point deduction.
