1st class: The
fulcrum is between the effort (force) and the resistance.
Example: The triceps working at the elbow.
2nd Class: The
resistance is between the fulcrum and the effort.
Example: The gastrocnemius working to raise
the heel off the ground.
3rd Class: The effort
is between the resistance and the fulcrum.
