There are six airports that serve the area. The two closest (under an hour by car) are smaller, so for most people that would involve a plane change. The three main New York City airports (Newark, LaGuardia, and JFK) are further. Of these three, Newark is the closest. LaGuardia and JFK are further and will have worse traffic, since they are in the eastern part of New York City. The Philadelphia airport is a 2 hour drive to the south.

For the Philadelphia airport, another option is to travel from the airport to downtown Philadelphia (the Greyhound Bus Terminal at 11th & Filbert Street), then catch a Greyhound bus to the Stroudsburg area.
New York Airport Service provides transportation service to and from Manhattan (New York City), JFK Airport, and LaGuardia (LGA) Airport. Buses run every 30 minutes. JFK: Tickets are $15 one way, $27 round trip, and approximate travel time is 75 minutes to Port Authority, depending on traffic. LaGuardia: Tickets are $12 one way, $21 round trip, and approximate travel time is 60 minutes, depending on traffic.
The Newark Liberty Airport Express (operated by Olympia Trails) provides frequent service from Newark Airport to New York's Port Authority Bus Terminal, Bryant Park - Fifth Ave, and Grand Central Station. Buses run every 15 minutes. Newark: Tickets are $15 one way, $25 round trip, and approximate travel time is 30 minutes to Port Authority, depending on traffic.
Martz Trailways travels between Manhattan and the Stroudsburg area. Travel time from Port Authority to the Stroudsburg Park & Ride is 1 hour 35 min.

To go from the University Apartments to the Science & Tech. Center, if you follow the streets the distance is .6 miles, but if you are walking, you can cut across the fields to save time.

For a less expensive option, take SEPTA to the Greyhound Bus Terminal (1001 Filbert Street, between 10th and 11th Streets. Take Septa's R1 to the Market East Station (12th and Filbert Streets).
