Elementary Math
Conference

The Northeast Pennsylvania K-16 Council is working to close the gap for college/university math expectations, through a conference focusing on showcasing best practice in elementary mathematics and developing networks of math practitioners across districts.

A Conference is planned for April 26 to involve Monroe area elementary schools and colleges/universities in conversations around three goals: showcasing local best practices in mathematics; discussion of math instruction and assessment issues; and developing a network of practitioners committed to further supporting each other in sharing best math practices.

We invite the participation of elementary school teachers, district curriculum coordinators or math coaches, community college and university faculty, preservice teachers, and administrators.  Please join us in this effort to improve mathematic instruction!
