The Office of Workforce Development is committed to advancing ESU's approach to professional development and economic sustainability.

In order to accomplish this, the Office of Workforce Development:

  • Facilitates grants issued by the Workforce and Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania Program (WEDnetPA) funded by the Department of Community and Economic Development.
  • Manages ESU’s Professional Testing Center which allows ESU students, faculty, staff and greater community to take exams that offer certification and licensure across multiple industries.
  • Collaborates with businesses to create internships, externships and job shadowing opportunities for ESU Students.
  • Sponsors Workforce Readiness Bootcamps: Students learn employability skills and expectations of career choice employers.
