NEW and IMPORTANT! FPDC 2016-2017 Guidelines

FDR Grants Program Overview

The Faculty Development and Research Grants (FDR) program, is sponsored by the Office of the Provost and provides funding to ESU faculty members to further their professional development. The FDR program's focus is on emphasizing leveraging external grants and interdisciplinary research. Travel is no longer funded through a grant, and will be administered by individual college deans' offices

ESU faculty can apply to three categories: the Mini Grant, Major Leveraging Grant, or Interdisciplinary Incentive Grant.

The Office of Sponsored Projects and Research (OSPR) helps administer the grant process.

NEW! All grant proposals must be submitted online via the University's new grant application software:
ESU eGRANTS. Register yourself in the portal today.

Review the NEW FDR Guidelines for the 2016-2017 year.

Paper applications will no longer be accepted.
