A message from Joseph Bull, ESU SPS President:

I believe that it is in the best interest of those students who are either in the physics program, or have an interest in physics, to become involved in the Society of Physics Students. Only so much can be learned in the classroom environment. The Society of Physics Students takes the excitement of physics to a heightened level by providing the opportunity for students to experience how physics plays an essential role in our society. The field trips we take to different companies and labs allows us to witness physics in action. In addition, attending conferences held by SPS is an excellent opportunity to meet other students and faculty who are also interested in physics, and obtain different points of view.
