The spring issue of the Northeast Regional Newsletter features speeches and reports from the regional conference, "CIVIL WAR: MANY BATTLES, MANY STORIES" at Gettysburg this past March.  

We hope you will be joining us at this year’s NCHC national conference in Chicago, November 5 - 9.  The site is an accessible one for our region, so we hopr to see many of you there.

In the next newsletter we hope to bring you some of the highlights of regional participation at the NCHC annual conference, to which end the editor welcomes submissions from all of you who attend.…..and pictures will be particularly appreciated.

We will also update you on plans for the regional conference in Hartford, Connecticut, April 1 - 4.

 In general, we hope that the newsletter will be seen as a way for members to exchange ideas and practices on their campuses. We encourage members to send us such submissions for all issues. We will continue to spotlight honors programs around the region in future issues, if interest in such features remains. Please also send announcements concerning conferences and events on your campuses which you would like us to feature. Other articles and submissions are encouraged. Besides articles, we remain interested in receiving newsletters from the membership. If we are not already on your distribution list, please add us. All submissions for future newsletters should be sent to Dr. Marcia Godich as editor.
