Cindy La Com assumed the office of President at the NE-NCHC Business Meeting after having serves honorably and strenuously as Vice President, making sure the conference at Gettysburg went as planned. 

Thanks to all those who assisted Cindy in achieving this very successful event. 

The theme of Many Battles, Many Stories did indeed have many stories -  the theme elicited a record number of interesting panels and poster sessions as well as exciting explorations of Battlefield-as-TextŠ all of which were enjoyed by  a record number of attendees (over 400) and presenters at the conference.

We hope those of you who attended the conference can enjoy reliving the experience through some of the postings under "Conference" - and those who did not attend may see what they missed.
