Intent to Graduate

Instructions

A candidate for a bachelor’s degree must complete this form and submit it to the Graduation Services Team at the Student Enrollment Center. If you will be receiving both a BA and a BS at the same time (dual degree), two applications are required.

May Graduation

The completed application must be submitted to the Graduation Services Team at the Student Enrollment Center by February 9th in order to be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony, for your name to be listed in the commencement program and for recognition of honors at the ceremony.

August Graduation

The completed application must be submitted to the Graduation Services Team at the Student Enrollment Center by February 9th in order to be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony, for your name to be listed in the May commencement program and for recognition of honors at the ceremony. While there is no commencement ceremony held in August, you may choose to participate in the May ceremony.

December Graduation

The completed application must be submitted to the Graduation Services Team at the Student Enrollment Center by December 1st. in order to graduate. While there is no commencement ceremony held in December, you may choose to participate in the May ceremony.

January Graduation

The completed application must be submitted to the Graduation Services Team at the Student Enrollment Center by December 1st in order to graduate. While there is no commencement ceremony held in January, you may choose to participate in the May ceremony.

Please type your name exactly as you wish it to appear on your diploma and in the commencement program.

If you have already submitted your intent to graduate application and have changed any of your personal information, do not re-submit your application. Please contact graduation@esu.edu for assistance.
