The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) and East Stroudsburg University (ESU) have partnered to support ESU students. The goal is to provide them with market-ready opportunities to gain hands-on experience in preparation for permanent careers after graduation.

By working closely with PMVB, ESU students are able to customize their experiential learning and tailor their leadership and skills development toward specific industries and firms.

Another important part of the collaboration between PMVB and ESU is integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across numerous media platforms that reach increasingly diverse communities living, working, and playing in the Poconos.

The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau is fortunate to have a host of talented ESU students working on various initiatives and projects. From the beautiful graphic designs created by Amna, to engaging video content crafted by Anthony, to efficient accounting work from Urvi, ESU students make valuable contributions to PMVB and its membership during their internships.

Meet the Interns

Amna Khan

I am a Graphic Designer who has a passion for design. I have experience with a variety of design programs and projects. I am currently pursuing design work and looking to work in textiles as a Surface Pattern Designer. If given the opportunity, I would love to expand my knowledge in textiles. Anthony Thomas Perrella

I am a recent undergraduate graduate from East Stroudsburg University majoring in digital media technologies with a double concentration in graphics and web design and television and film production. I can record, edit, and create different promos, videos, and graphics. Get to Know Anthony

Urvi Shah

I am currently an accounting intern at the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau. I recently graduated from East Stroudsburg University in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in accounting. I consider myself to be a team player and an independent worker with an ability to work cross-functionally and independently on deadline-driven environments. I also consider myself to be a fast learner. I tend to grasp concepts quickly and work on them efficiently. I am looking to find a job in the accounting field, and given the opportunity, I would like to apply what I learned at ESU and PMVB in my future endeavors. Get to Know Urvi

Morgan Mesenbrink

In summer 2022, I worked with the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau as a Marketing, Media, and Public Relations Intern. Through meetings, video shoots, and promotions, I gained valuable knowledge and experience in sales, membership, social media, and development. I served as a Spanish-speaking consultant, assisting with the Latino/Hispanic Business & Restaurant Committee for the Poconos. My proficiency in photography, videography, social media, and software usage were strengthened and enhanced during my summer Internship. I also established invaluable connections as I expanded my professional network. In December 2022, I graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a double major in Hospitality and Spanish and a double minor in Business Management and Event Planning. Get to Know Morgan
