Millersville, Pa. - The Warriors women's volleyball team felt very optimistic heading into their Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division opener at Millersville. East Stoudsburg was surprised by the Lady Mauraders and fell 3-1 on the night by scores of 21-30, 30-24, 22-30 and 23-30.

ESU (2-3/0-1 PSAC-East) was paced by April Mellott's 16 kills while Andrea Myers chipped in 13. Heidi Johnston had 41 assists in the four games while Jodi Wenger dug 17 balls.

The Warriors return to action this Thursday night in their home opener against Goldey Beacom College starting at 7:00 p.m. in Koehler Fieldhouse.
