Warriors Off Night Leads to Edinboro Sweep

Lock Haven, Pa. - Playing top competition you have to be in top form. The Warriors facing perennial PSAC West powerhouse Edinboro played poorly and were swept by the Scots 3-0 (8-30, 18-30, 26-30) in the first of two days at the PSAC Crossover matches at Lock Haven University.

ESU (6-8) had a tough time of things Friday night against the PSAC West top team in Edinboro (8-5). Heidi Johnston handed out 21 assists with 10 digs while April Mellott dug 10 balls herself with six kills. Andrea Myers and Beth Walker added seven and five kills apiece.

The Warriors will continue in the two day Crossover matches against IUP Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and versus host Lock Haven at 8:15 p.m.
