. . . two-time ECAC Division II indoor champion . . . returning to full-time action after missing almost
all
of last season because of injury.
2000: Placed third in triple jump at PSAC championships with season-best performance of 46-8 1/2
. . .started season strongly by winning both the long jump and triple jump at Lafayette Indoor
Invitational
in December . . . suffered ankle injury at the meet which sidelined him until conference championships in
May.
1999: Placed third in triple jump at PSAC meet at 46-2 1/2 . . . was fifth in long jump at 22-1 1/2
. . . also ran on 4 x 100-meter relay team which placed fourth in conference . . . provisionally qualified
for NCAA Division II Championships in triple jump with season-best 48-0 in a meet at Kutztown although he
didn't make the field. Was named outstanding field competitor at ECAC championships after repeating as
triple jump champion at 48-2 . . . also finished third in the long jump at 22-5 . . . captured first place
in
triple jump at both the John Covert Classic at 46-5 1/2 and the Bears' Den Invitational at 46-1 3/4 . . .
had
season best long jump of 23-0.
1998:Placed fourth in triple jump at PSAC championships at 45-11 1/2 . . . won triple jump at
Lafayette Invitational at 48-11 which surpassed provisional qualifying standard for NCAA Division II
Championships . . . double winner in triple jump at 48-9 and the long jump at 22-3 at the Lehigh Games.
Won triple jump at the ECAC championships with a season-best 46-11 1/2 . . . was fifth in the long jump at
22-9 . . . took triple jump titles at four other indoor meets.
High School: Three-time PIAA state place-winner . . . finished as runner-up in PIAA state
championships in triple jump at 44-8 1/2 as a junior for Catasauqua High School . . . finished third in
the
triple jump at 46-0 and fourth in long jump at 21-10 1/2 as a senior for Salisbury High School . . . won
league and PIAA District 11 titles in both events. Personal: Majoring in Physical Education Teacher
