ESU Women's Soccer Stand Tall but Fall at Bloomsburg

Bloomsburg, Pa. - The Warriors women's soccer team has been able to stand tall and play every outstanding team tough with Tuesday match being no exception. East Stroudsburg took Bloomsburg to the limit before bowing only 1-0.

Lindsay Vandergrift had a quality effort in goal with 12 saves but the team dropped to 6-11-1 on the season and 4-5-1 in the PSAC. Bloomsburg took their mark to 15-2 and 6-3-1 in the league action.

The Huskies out shot ESU 15-9 and are now the 10th nationally and/or regionally ranked team the Warriors have fell victim to this year of their 11 defeats.

ESU will wrap up their 2002 docket this Saturday at Slippery Rock for a 1:00 p.m. start.
