Donovan Has Strong Showing at First NCAA National Track & Field Competition

Edwardsville, Ill. - The first of East Stroudsburg University's track and field three national competitors had a good showing Friday night at the NCAA Division II championships. Freshman Amy Donovan recorded a 17th place finish in the triple jump for her first national competition.
Donovan from Birdsboro, Pa. jumped 39-4.50 at the nationals which tied her third place jump at the same length for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships.
The Warriors other two national qualifiers are two men's javelin throwers in
2002 All-American Barry Krammes and Dan Gale.
