Took snaps in pressure situations last year and did not flinch after Palm was injured . . . enjoyed best game against Cheyney with six completions in 11 attempts for 102 yards including a 27-yard TD strike . . . led team to 35-14 win. Connected on 46-yard pass to lead to game-clinching touchdown early in the fourth quarter in a 34-20 victory over Mansfield.
