Warrior Spikers Go Distance for Win Over Queens

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - East Stroudsburg went the distance in taking a five game win over Queens Saturday. After winning the first two games, the Warriors battled for the deciding five game victory for the 33-31, 30-27, 28-30, 27-30, 15-13.

ESU (7-15) received 18 kills and eight blocks from Mike Messinger to lead the team to victory. Three other Warriors were in double figure for kills in Andy Wimmer at 12 with Jarrett Merkel and Jon Stellefson 10 apiece. Dave Cuff had a season-high 63 assists.

The Warriors will host Southampton College to finish out the regular season next Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
