Warriors Take Kiwanis-ESU
Title from Pesky Felician Squad
Chapoy and Stewart Gain Tournament Awards

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - The Warriors ran their streak of Kiwanis-ESU Classic titles today to six in a row with a 2-0 victory over Felician College. The title game comes 18 days after it was postponed on September 15th due to downpouring rain. Jorge Chapoy netted the first goal on the afternoon as well as the John Eiler Outstanding Offensive Player of the tournament while Sean Stewart repeated as the John McKeon Outstanding Defensive Player.
The fifth-ranked Warriors (9-0) had all they handle this afternoon with the Golden Falcons. The game was scoreless until Chapoy found the back of the net from Tom Mustac at 84:06. Kamar Samuels added the other tally at 89:24 from Jason Cropper for the 2-0 victory.
Bill Sterner recorded his fourth shutout of the season in goal with five saves. The team has now allowed only five goals in nine contests. Felician goalie Rosario Candela stopped seven ESU shots.
The Warriors will next host Shippensburg in the Super Soccer Saturday contest at 2:00 p.m.
