Chapoy Stars in Mens Soccer Road Win Over Holy Family

Philadelphia, Pa. - Jorge Chapoy starred for the second time in two games to guide the Warrior mens soccer team over Holy Family Saturday afternoon. Chapoy knotched his second hat trick in two contests by scoring three of the teams four goals in the 4-1 East Stroudsburg University victory.
Chapoy took a pass from Wesley Gayle at 12:40 for the games first goal. Holy Family struck back later in the opening half at 24:17 to tie the game 1-1 which remained the score at the half.
The game turned into the Chapoy show in the second half. The senior from Monclova, Mexico put the Warriors (2-0) ahead for good at 55:14 from Tom Mustac. Chapoy then assisted on Joe Alcaros goal on a through ball just 29 seconds later for a 3-1 advantage. The final goal and one for the hat trick came off of Chapoys foot at 79:38 for the 4-1 win.
Pete Llewllyn started in goal for ESU allowing the only goal in 45 minutes of action. Bill Sterner recorded a save in 34 minutes and Dan Frick minded the net the final 11 minutes. ESU outshot Holy Family 25-3 and in corner kicks 6-1.
The Warriors will next play at Caldwell College (NJ) Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
