Shippensburg Sinks ESU in Double Overtime

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - Shippensburg sunk East Stroudsburg in double overtime, 3-2, in men's soccer to give the Warriors their first defeat of the season. The Red Raiders' Andy Jennings netted all three goals including the game-winner just 45 seconds in the second extra period for the victory. Tom Mustack had the two ESU goals.

The Warriors fall to 9-1 on the season and 2-1 in the PSAC. Shippensburg takes their 9-3-1 and 2-0 in Conference play.

East Stroudsburg found themselves trailing 2-0 for most of the contest. Mustac was able to get ESU on the board at 79:09 and follow up with another score just a minute and 36 seconds later to tie the game and send it into overtime.

ESU goalies Bill Sterner stopped four shots while Dan Frick came on to block four attempts. Ship's netminder Bob McComsey recorded 15 saves on the day.
