Warriors Stopped by Top-Ranked Huskies in PSAC Field Hockey Semi-Finals

Bloomsburg, Pa. - The Warriors dreams of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference gold was dashed by the top-ranked team in the nation. Mandy Sturm's lone goal for East Stroudsburg at 24:08 in the first half was not enough as Bloomsburg netted two goals prior to her score for the 2-1 final.

ESU rounded out their campaign at 12-8 while the Huskies take their undefeated mark to 18-0 for the 2002 season.

Kelly Wagner blocked 17 Bloomsburg shots as the Huskies outshot ESU 21-3 on the day. Sara Gorman handed out the game's only assist of the game on Sturm's goal.
