Pottsville, Pa. - Chosen as the team's outstanding wrestler last season…had team's
best
record at 20-11 with three pins, one technical and four majors…finished 12-5 in duals…won last eight dual
matches…scored two wins in EIWA Championships with a pin and technical fall but did not place.
Two-time PSAC place-winner with fifth last season and third two years ago…was 24-11 in
1999-2000…most exciting wrestler on the mat and a great scrambler…one of team's tri-captains.
Qualified for PIAA State Championships at 135 pounds for Pottsville High School…set school
record for most victories with mark of 102-33…won league title three times…made All-County and
All-Anthracite teams…majoring in Physical Education Teacher Certification.
