The Warriors started the week off quickly with three straight wins to close in on a 20-win season, but then lost three straight games, all by one run, which left the team's record at 19-16-1.

Third baseman Ryan Hatfield (So., Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) was the team's top hitter for the week, going 9 for 20 for a .450 average with four RBIs and nine scored runs scored. He belted homers in each game and was 5-for-7 in a 11-6, 5-3 twinbill sweep over West Chester.

First baseman Bryan Yagel (Jr., Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) had nine hits in 21 at-bats in the six games for a .429 mark which actually lowered his season average. He is now hitting .447 (55 for 123) with 57 runs-batted-in, including five last week.

Joe Sobeski (So., Duryea, Pa./Pittston) returned to action as the team's designated hitter after sitting out more than two weeks with a shoulder injury which still will keep him from his normal catching position. He had hits in all five games in which he played and was 6 for 19 for a .316 average with three RBIs.

Danny Supey (Fr., Exeter Twp., Pa./Wyoming Area) had the top pitching performance of the week, allowing only three hits and one unearned run over seven innings in a 6-3 victory over Philadelphia. He struck out five batters and stranded eight base-runners.
