Friday-Saturday, ESU Men's Volleyball Invitational
The ESU men's volleyball team wil play host to a pair of teams for ESU Volleyball Invitational this weekend. The Warriors will take on Findlay from Ohio Friday at 7 p.m. and New Haven Saturday at 1 p.m. Findlay and New Haven will meet Saturday at 11 a.m.

Brad Kleckner (141, Jr., Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville) won two matches and reached the consolation quarter-finals for the Warriors' best performance in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) Championships.
Kleckner, the sixth seed at 141 pounds, won by technical fall over Ted Seemuller of Franklin and Marshall, 16-1 in 3:16, in the first round, but then lost a major decision to third-seeded Joe Clarke of Princeton, 17-4, in the quarter-finals. He came back and pinned Kyle Bernhold of host Penn in 2:50 of his first consolation match before losing a major decision to seventh-seeded Joe Wysocki of Rutgers, 13-4. He finished the season with a 20-11 record.
Matt Dudeck (157, Fr., Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) and Dan Roy (174, Jr., West Belmar, N.J./Wall) had the team's only other two victories in the tournament. The Warriors finished 11th of the 14 teams with seven points.
Dudeck, unseeded, upset eighth-seeded Frank Edwards of Navy, 4-2, in overtime in the first round. He then lost two matches, however, to top-seeded Ryan Bernhold of Lehigh, 4-0, in the quarter-finals and to Jon Bunt of Princeton, 4-2, in the consolations. He was 16-16.
Roy, also unseeded, lost to seventh-seeded Justin Haskins of Rutgers, 3-2, in the first round, but then surprised eighth-seeded P.J. Jones of team champion Harvard, 3-2, in the consolations. He bowed in the consolation quarter-finals to fourth-seeded Greg Parker of Princeton on a major decision, 10-0. He wound up with a 21-17 record.

Shavanna Ross (Sr., Center Valley, Pa./William Allen) will compete in the high jump at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday at 12 noon at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.
Ross qualified with a leap of 5-7 1/4 in winning the event at the ECAC Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships Feb. 25. She is tied for fourth in the seeding among the 14 qualifiers. She was selected as the outstanding field performer in the ECAC meet.

The Warriors dropped a pair of five-match matches in Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Hay Division action last week.
Middle blocker Tom Shaver (Sr., Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock) was the leader in a 3-2 loss to Vassar with 11 kills in 17 attempts and only one error for a .647 hitting average. Outside hitter Jason Hartzel (Sr., Souderton, Pa./Souderton) had a team high 15 kills while opposite Mike Messinger (Jr., Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) added 12 kills and 15 digs.
Hartzel led the ESU attack in a 3-2 loss to Harvard with 16 kills. Outside hitter Dustin Wood (So., East Petersburg, Pa./Hempfield) contributed 14 kills.
