The Warriors will play host to five schools for the first Warrior Wrestling Duals Saturday. Pairings will be: 11 a.m. - ESU vs. American; VMI vs. Maryland; Binghamton vs. James Madison; 1 p.m. - ESU vs. James Madison; VMI vs. American; Binghamton vs. Maryland; 3 p.m. - ESU vs. VMI; James Madison vs. Maryland; Binghamton vs. American

Forward Tiffany Barnes (Jr., Middletown, Pa./Middletown) and guard Heather Wolfe (So. York Haven, Pa./Red Land) were the top players as the Warriors won one of three games against PSAC Western Division opponents during the holiday break.
Barnes had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in a 68-61 upset victory over IUP and 14 points and nine boards in a 72-54 loss to Shippensburg. She had 31 points in the three games is averaging 8.0 points and 8.4 rebounds. Wolfe was the star of the win over IUP with a team season-high 20 points and 13 rebounds. She also had 31 points in the three contests and leads the team in scoring with 8.8 points per game.
Other strong performances were turned in by forward Michele Pilenza (Sr., Delran, N.J./Delran) eight points and eight rebounds against IUP and eight points and nine rebounds against Shippensburg, and guard Shelly Garlach (So., Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) 11 points on 3 for 4 shooting, including a 3-pointer, and 4 for 4 from the line against Shippensburg.

Juwan Justice (Sr., Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic) scored 62 points in three games, but the Warriors lost to three PSAC Western Division opponents during the holiday break. Justice had 28 points as the Warriors carried California to overtime before bowing, 77-73. He then had 24 points in a 81-67 loss to IUP and was held to ten points in a 83-51 setback at Shippensburg. He is averaging 20.6 points per game.
Guard David Fedorka (So., Colver, Pa./Central Cambria) scored 16 points in the first half against California, making 6 of 9 shots, including 4 of 5 3-pointers, but he suffered a broken hand toward the end of the half which will sideline him until February.
Forward Andy Wimmer (So., Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) had two big games with 11 points against California and 14 points and eight rebounds against IUP. Guard John Krimmel (Fr., State College, Pa./State College) seeing his first real action of the season, tallied eight points on 4 for 4 shooting in a 17-minute appearance against Shippensburg.

Shawn Smith (184, Jr., Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) had the Warriors' furthest advance while Keith Kleckner (149, So., Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville) won the most matches for the team in the recent Wilkes Wrestling Open.
Smith lost in the first round to Reggie Lee of Harvard, 8-4, and then won four straight consolation matches over J. Brent Billet of Ohio State, 3-1; Chad Hoare of Bloomsburg, 8-7, Daniel Cook of Rutgers on a technical fall, 15-0, and Matt Benton of Pitt-Johnstown, 5-2. He then was eliminated by Randy Stout of Cornell, 3-2.
Kleckner had five victories including a pair of pins. He pinned Jacob Gillen of Buffalo in 2:34 before losing to Ryan Ickes of Pitt-Johnstown, 6-1. In the consolations, he beat Michael DeMaio of Drexel, 5-0; Matt Thurston of Norwich, 3-1; Casey Todd of Old Dominion on a pin in 1:45, and Patrick Lukanich of Navy, 3-1, before losing to Christopher Perch of Cornell, 9-2, in the fourth round of consolations. He had bowed to Lukanick, 4-2, in a dual match earlier in December.
Matt Dudeck (157, So., Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) also reached the fourth round of consolations with three wins. He pinned Scott Douglas of Virginia in 5:25 before losing to Chad Scheidegger of George Mason, 5-1. He then beat Rocky Miller of Bucknell, 3-1, and Brandon Kaufman of Harvard, 6-3, but then lost to Nicholas Ruasenberge of Nassau Community College, 5-2.
Two ESU wrestlers, Dan Roy (174, Sr., West Belmar, N.J./Wall) and Marc Bauknecht (285, Sr., Cheshire, Ct./Holy Cross) competed in the prestigious Midlands Tournament at Northwestern. Roy suffered his first losses of the season after eight wins in dropping a pair of close matches to Phillip Freeman of Ohio State, 3-2, and Josh McLay of Minnesota, 3-1, in overtime. Bauknecht was pinned by Jason Ott of Wisconsin-Lacrosse in 3:45, pinned Mike Keenan of Michigan State in 4:20 and was pinned by Andy Bowlby of Oregon State in 0:29.
