ESU Women's Volleyball

NYACK, N.Y. - Andrea Myers made 14 kills and 11 digs as East Stroudsburg University opened its women's volleyball season by sweeping Nyack College, 30-17, 30-12, 30-28, Wednesday.

Myers took 27 swings and made only one error for .481 hitting average. Abby Hazelton added nine kills and hit .438 while Sarah Brown had six kills. All-Conference star April Mellott played in only one game and had three kills.

Heidi Johnston fed off 20 assists in two games while Jodi Wenger had 12 assists in the third game. Wenger also made five digs. Hazelton was the leader in blocks with three.
