ESU-West Chester Women's Volleyball

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - Andi Myers, Ashleigh Reinert and Laurie Weisbrod led the East Stroudsburg University women's volleyball team to its third straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division victory Tuesday with a 15-12, 15-9, 15-4 win over West Chester.

Myers made 11 kills and ten digs in only two games while Reinert had 19 assists, 13 digs and five kills. Weisbrod had a number of acrobatic defensive saves which eventually resulted in ESU points.

Jessica Nourse added nine kills and Sarah Brown seven kills while Cassie Brinn had five blocks.

ESU's top hitter April Mellott sat out the match against the 1-10 West Chester team. Mellott was named the PSAC Eastern Division Player of the Week for the second time Tuesday after leading the team to wins over Kutztown and Millersville last week.

The Warriors are now 4-3 overall and 3-0 in the conference and will travel to Wilmington College for a match tonight.
