ESU-Shippensburg Women's Volleyball

EAST STROUDSBURG - April Mellott had 21 kills for East Stroudsburg University as the Warriors beat Shippensburg in four games in PSAC women's volleyball action Tuesday night, 30-23, 23-30, 30-20, 30-21.

Andrea Myers and Jessica Nourse each had nine kills for the Warriors.

Sophomore Heidi Johnston set up the team with 38 assists in the game and three digs.

Defensively, ESU was led by Myers and Nourse, with 13 and 10 digs each.

First place Kutztown lost in three to West Chester, moving the Warriors into first place in the PSAC Eastern Division.

The Warriors, who improved their record to 6-1 in PSAC Eastern Division, will host the ESU Invitational this weekend in the Koehler Fieldhouse, featuring Concordia, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Millersville.
