East Stroudsburg University--Nyack College Volleyball

East Stroudsburg, PA--East Stroudsburg University took three straight games, 15-8, 15-2 and 16-14, downing Nyack College in women's volleyball action Thursday night.

April Mellot led the Warriors with 8 kills on 28 attempts, while Cassie Brinn chipped in with 6 kills on 12 attempts for a .333 hitting percentage.

Heidi Johnston and Ashleigh Reinert combined for 19 assists with Johnston making ten and Reinert nine. Jackie Babini had two services aces while Andrea Meyers added one service ace to combine with her team leading 14 digs.

ESU improves to 12-10 on the season, while Nyack College drops to 8-11. ESU will compete in the Homecoming Classic Saturday, October 21 at Koehler Fieldhouse with matches against Bryant and LIU-Southampton at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
