ESU-Cheyney Women’s Volleyball

EAST STROUDSBURG – Jodi Wenger made 13 service aces to lead East Stroudsburg University to a 30-8, 30-7, 30-9 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women’s volleyball victory over Cheyney Tuesday night in the Koehler Fieldhouse.

The Warriors had 26 service aces overall with Kristin Matejicki second with six. Kristen O’Connell and Lauren Czaszynski were the team leaders in kills with eight apiece while Wenger had 19 assists and Matejicki eight digs.

The victory lifts ESU’s record to 10-8 overall and 3-1 in the conference. Cheyney is now 0-7 overall and 0-4 in PSAC play.
