ESU-St. Anselm Women's Soccer

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Alissa Pereira scored with 8:41 gone in overtime to lift St. Anselm College to a 2-1 victory over East Stroudsburg University in the Radisson Women's Soccer Kickoff Classic hosted by St. Michael's Saturday.

Periera took a pass, dribbled the ball into the box and put a hard shot into the upper right corner of the nets.

Behind 1-0, the Warriors had tied the score with just over 15 minutes left in regulation as Colleen Gallagher converted a corner kick by Haley Case.

St. Anselm had opened the scoring on an assisted goal by Courtney Meier with 25 minutes gone in the game.

ESU will play St. Michael's today at 12 noon while St. Anselm takes on Plymouth State at 2.
