ESU-New Paltz Women’s Swimming
NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – Jamie Miller, Erin Kowalik and Heather Clouser all were double winners as East Stroudsburg University downed New Paltz State, 117-88, in a women’s swimming meet Wednesday night.
Miller came within 15/100th of a second of the school record in winning the 200-yard individual medley in 2:18.76. The school mark is 2:18.61 set by Sue Fay in 1987. She also won the 200 butterfly in 2:18.45 and swam a leg on the winning 400-yard medley relay team.
Kowalik came in first in both the 100 freestyle in 55.07 and the 200 free in 2:01.69 and anchored the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team. Clouser won the 1000 freestyle in 11:25.71 and the 200 backstroke in 2:15.80 and led off the medley relay team.
