ESU's Woolf on All-PSAC Women's Soccer Team

 

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - East Stroudsburg University forward Justina Woolf has been selected on the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's soccer first team announced Wednesday.

Woolf led the Warriors in scoring with 12 goals and two assists for 14 points. She had a 'hat trick' in a win over Philadelphia and two goals in a victory over Edinboro. The junior from Womelsdoft had been the PSAC Rookie of the Year in 1997 and an All-PSAC first team selection in 1998.

The Warriors finished with a 7-10 record including a 4-6 PSAC mark.

Head coaches of the 11 PSAC women's soccer team honored 26 players, 13 on the first team and 13 on the second. Forward Alea Balthaser of PSAC runner-up Bloomsburg was chosen as the Player of the Year. Peter Campbell of conference champion Lock Haven was named the Coach of the Year while the Bald Eagles' forward Naomi Clarke was picked as the Rookie of the Year.
