ESU 2, Kutztown 1

FLEETWOOD - East Stroudsburg University scored two goals within less than two minutes late in the first half to defeat Kutztown, 2-1, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's soccer game Tuesday night.

Lisa Levine, a senior from Stroudsburg, scored the first goal with 11:59 left in the half. She headed in a shot following an indirect kick by Jennifer Amos.

Shannon Mullins followed with another goal with 10:24 remaining before halftime, connecting on a long-range shot from outside the penalty box on the left side.

Andrea Sellitti tallied Kutztown's lone goal, unassisted 19 seconds into the second half.

The win raises ESU's record to 6-2-1 overall and 3-1 in the conference. Kutztown fell to 5-5 overall and 2-2 in PSAC play.
