PHILADELPHIA - Justina Woolf scored a 'hat trick' to extend her scoring streak to six straight games as East Stroudsburg University defeated Philadelphia University, 3-1, in a rescheduled women's soccer game Thursday.

Woolf scored twice in the first half and once in the second for the second 'hat trick' of her collegiate career. She had booted in three goals in her first collegiate game against FDU-Madison in 1997. The junior from Womelsdorf now has eight goals this season and 32 for her career.

The Warriors took the lead after 16 minutes as Deirdre Durkin fed a pass to Woolf, who fired a shot from 20 yards out into the lower left corner. The second goal came with two minutes remaining in the half with Woolf connecting from 25 yards away into the upper left corner after a taking a through-pass from Dlorah Walkley.

Woolf made it 3-0, midway through the second half, dribbling right at goalie Stephanie Martin and beating her to the lower left. Lauren DeRewal was credited with an assist on the play.

The Rams' lone goal came was on Lindsey Steel's penalty kick with 12 minutes remaining.

ESU raised its record to 3-5 while Philadelphia had a six-game winning streak broken and is now 6-3-1.
