ESU-Kutztown Women's Soccer
KUTZTOWN - Forward Justina Woolf converted a penalty kick with just over two minutes remaining to give East Stroudsburg University a 2-1 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's soccer victory over Kutztown Tuesday.
Kutztown had just tied the game on a shot by Lauren Lick off a pass from Erin Black. Then less than 30 seconds later, one of the Golden Bears' defenders pulled down Woolf in the box as she was taking a shot resulting in the penalty call.
Woolf extended her scoring streak to eight straight games with her tenth goal of the season. The Warriors have now won three straight games and are 5-5 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
Christina Bonomini put ESU ahead early in the second half with a shot from 20 yards out after a deflection off a Kutztown defender.
