EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Dan Roy (174) made the 20-win club for the second straight year as he helped East Stroudsburg University down Binghamton, 32-10, in wrestling Wednesday night.
Roy raised his season record to 20-7 as he scored a major decision over Mark Tse, 14-3. Ahead by only 3-1, he scored a takedown and a pair of two-point near falls in the second period to break it open.
It was the sixth straight dual-match victory for Roy, who was 21-17 last season.
He has a career record of 66-49 after going .500 his first two seasons.
Two other ESU wrestlers extended dual-match winning streaks. Brandon Mihalko (165) won his 11th straight dual with a 21-8 major decision over Rob Sckalor on nine takedowns. He is now 21-4 overall.
Mark Dudeck (157) captured his sixth dual in a row by edging Beau Bruno, 4-2, with a takedown with a minute remaining. His record is now 16-7.
Brad Kleckner (141) started the match by downing Josh Ruff, 8-4, with a reversal and three-point near in the second period to raise his record to 16-5.
The win evened the Warriors' record at 8-8 with one match remaining at home against North Carolina State Saturday at 7 p.m. Binghamton is now 4-11.
