SHIPPENSBURG - East Stroudsburg University won nine of ten weight classes to trounce Shippensburg, 41-3, Saturday for its most one-sided wrestling victory of the season.

The Warriors (5-13) took a quick lead as Shawn Smith pinned a namesake, Ryan Smith in 4:44 in the opening 165-pound match; Dan Roy followed with a 17-1 technical fall over Aaron Telatovich in 5:17 at 174 and Dan Madonna pinned Nick Hensley in 2:10 at 184.

The closest ESU wins were at 285 where Marc Bauknecht scored a takedown in overtime to beat Chris Bulley and at 157 as Matt Dudeck edged Tom Mertz, 2-0, with an escape in the second period and a riding time point.

Brad Kleckner (141) gained his seventh straight dual-match victory and raised his record to 17-9 by winning on injury default over Mark Mentzer in 6:53. He was winning, 8-2 at the time.
