ESU-Mercyhurst Women's Lacrosse
ERIE - Senior Kim Niles tied the East Stroudsburg University career assist record, but the Warriors dropped a 14-6 women's lacrosse decision to Mercyhurst Sunday.
Niles had one assist to give her 66 for her career, matching the total by Megan Macauley from 1997-2000. The Warriors have one game remaining at home against Rowan Tuesday.
Vanessa Turner scored four goals and Laurie Sienkiewicz added three goals and three assists for Mercyhurst, which was ranked sixth in the latest NCAA Division II national poll. The Lady Lakers are 11-4.
Michelle Cottiers had three goals and Niles two for the Warriors, who dropped to 6-8.
