East Stroudsburg, Pa. - Pace University's Wanda Maynard-Morris was too much down the stretch for East Stroudsburg University as Pace posted a 65-51 women's basketball victory over the Warriors.
Maynard-Morris rang up a double-double, scoring 20 points and hauling down 18 rebounds for the Setters, now 6-1. Astrid Best and Jen Kauffman both netted double figures for Pace as well, scoring 13 and 10 points a piece.
East Stroudsburg was led by Kelly Hutchison's 11 points and 8 rebounds, both team highs. Guard Stephanie Kuhn contributed 10 points off of the bench for the Warriors, who drop to 2-6 on the season.
East Stroudsburg will return to action following the holiday break on January 6th, when they take on California University at 1:00 p.m.
