ESU Track and Field/Ross in NCAAs'
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - East Stroudsburg University's Shavanna Ross failed to qualify for the finals of the 400-meter intermediate hurdles at the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships at SIU-Edwardsville Thursday.
Ross, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference runner-up in the event, ran 64.07 in the trials, one of her poorest times of the season, and was eliminated. She had qualified for the nationals with a time of 61.89.
A total of 23 runners competed with the top eight making Saturday's finals. The cutoff time was 61.29.
